The story ‘Anugrahathin Dur Anubhavam’ (The Tragedy of Desire) talks about two girls Alamkrutha and Anaswra walking on the village riverbank. A talking bird comes by and it warns them of a danger. It asks the girls to run back to their village. The story also mentions how rains will create destruction. Many humans and animals will die. The school magazine also has articles by children where they describe the beauty of the areas Mundakkai and Chooralmala in the village.

The poem ‘Ente Puzha’ by Thanmaya Janeesh, a student of Class III, describes the mild waves in the village river. The story ‘Ee Kuliraruviyude Orath’ (On the Banks of This Stream), written by Alhena, a student of Class VI, mentions a girl who bathes with her mother in the river. The poem ‘Kilimani Naadam,’ penned by Bhagya Sree S, describes the avian species in the village.
