LIBRARY WEEK

IT’S LIBRARY WEEK, WE HAVE SO MUCH TO SEE,WE HAVE SO MUCH TO DO AND SO MUCH TO LEARN….SAYS SPS

DAY 1:
Library week started with a visit to the state central library also known as Asafia Library at Afzalganj.Students of classes IV & V were amazed to see the treasure trove of books.

DAY-2: The visit to the State Central Library was informative for students of classes VI,VII & VIII.Students were amazed to see the wide range of books and noted down the facts about this Historic Library.

DAY 3 – Poster Making Competition

Poster making facilitates creative thinking and extensive research and reading.

It provides students an opportunity to learn by doing, in turn strengthening the learning.
This was our motto behind poster making competition.

Siddharthites actively participated in the competition and made colorful and thought provoking posters….

DAY 4 –Story Telling Competition

Storytelling is a unique skill that opens up the vivid imaginations that runs wild in children and it also builds confidence and enhances speaking skills.

A storytelling competition was organized as a part of LIBRARY WEEK at SPS.

The young vibrant storytellers came forth with wonderful tales.

Few stories provided food for thought, and a few reinforced moral values.

DAY 5 –Essay Writing Competition

Writing is the painting of the voice….

A Library is the place where history comes into life…

and when the school conducted an essay writing competition on the topic “Our School Library” as a part of library week on DAY-5,Siddharthites participated with a wave of enthusiasm.

SPS successfully achieved its objective of engaging it’s students to stretch themselves intellectually with research, assimilation and made an impressive expression about Libraries in their hearts.

DAY   6 PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

At SPS Champions are made….our champions were given medals and appreciation certificates for their excellent performance in various competitions conducted during LIBRARY WEEK…. Congratulations to our winners…..
